Newmills

The hamlet of Newmills is roughly 2 1/2 miles down the Kensey Valley from Launceston and is currently the end of the line for the Launceston Steam Railway. The pictures below show the lovely little lineside halt which is the Newmills terminus. The Bowmans have always wished to extend the line a further 2 1/2 miles to the village of Egloskerry but so far, September 2015, that has not been possible.
